Add Keyscape To Ableton Lite 2020
Go to the Clip Envelopes box, select 'MIDI Ctrl' in the upper white box, then select '64 - Hold Pedal' in the lower box. Now increase the value of the envelope depicted to the right in the envelope field to 100% (just drag it all the way up). Now that clip will have activated the sustain/hold midi message. Thanks man works like a charm. Adding Serum into Ableton. Install Serum from the Splice desktop client (Windows users need to take note of the installation destination, by default under the User’s Documents folder). To get Serum up and running in Ableton you need to check Ableton's AU/VST settings.

Ableton have upgraded their Lite software which is a condensed version of their flagship DAW in line with the Ableton 11 series. Ableton Lite is free to users who purchase certain hardware products and gets a significant boost in this update.
What you need to know:
- Ableton Live 11 Lite has been released and is available to all current users of their Lite software.
- New features in 11 Lite include MPE, Tempo Following, additional scenes and a few new audio and MIDI effects.
- You can get Ableton Live 11 Lite by purchasing participating hardware which bundles with it.

This update to Ableton’s entry level offering adds new and updated devices, a larger sound library, more scenes and MPE support.
MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE) which was popularised by the ROLI range of gear, is now integrated into Ableton 11 Lite. People with these controllers can slide, bend and express their sounds in more interesting ways. Users without these controllers can still use Ableton’s automation tool to edit these parameters.
Live 11 Lite receives a few new audio effects taken from the full edition of Ableton with Phaser-Flanger, Limiter and Saturator. These are welcome additions with the Saturator coming in handy for adding some grit, the Limiter being useful for staying below digital zero and the Phaser-Flanger is fantastic at creating stereo width in your productions.
Arrangement view now allows up to 16 scenes for in depth and varied compositions and adds tempo following, which listens to incoming audio and matches the BPM of your session to it.
Racks, Ableton’s group of effects/instruments receives 1-16 macros instead of last editions 8 and macro settings can be randomised for interesting outcomes.
Live 11 Lite’s Core Library has been updated offering new sounds, Follow Actions get an update along with a few devices that were already available including Redux and Chorus-Ensemble.
Ableton Live 11 Lite is available now for all previous users of Lite and is included in a range of hardware available for purchase.
